The ornate wood turtle, also known as the ornate painted wood turtle. They inhabit rainforests, shallow rivers, and bushes. They generally found on land though. These omnivorous turtles eat fruit, insects, and worms. This specific subspecies, R. pulcherrima incisa, is found in El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras, and southern Mexico.
