The Red Lored Amazon is a parrot that is found from eastern Mexico through western Ecuador. They inhabit rainforests and prefer the wild areas. They are mostly green but the forehead and lores are red. These monogamous parrots often live in flocks and fly in pairs. The predators include monkeys, snakes, and raptors. They feed on seeds, fruit, nuts, berries, greens, blossoms, and buds.
